Barose Marine Outboats

Shipping & Delivery Policy

We aim to make purchasing boats, yachts, pontoons, motors, marine parts and boating equipment straightforward. This policy explains how delivery arrangements are discussed and confirmed for orders placed with Barose Marine Outboats.

Barose Marine Outboats is an online showroom for new and used boats, pontoons and a range of marine-related products. We also provide access to boating accessories, trailers, parts and service enquiries. Delivery arrangements can vary depending on the product, its size, weight, availability and destination.

1. Delivery Areas

Delivery availability depends on the item being purchased and the destination address. Customers are welcome to enquire about delivery within the United Kingdom and international destinations.

Before placing an order for a boat, yacht, pontoon, motor, shipping container or other large item, please contact us to confirm whether delivery can be arranged for your location.

2. Delivery Arrangements by Product

Boats, Yachts & Pontoons

Larger vessels may require specialist transport, suitable loading arrangements and destination checks. Delivery arrangements and any associated costs should be confirmed before purchase.

New & Used Boat Motors

Motor delivery options may depend on the engine type, dimensions, weight, packaging requirements and destination. Please enquire before ordering.

Marine Parts & Accessories

Smaller parts and accessories may have different delivery arrangements from large marine equipment. The applicable delivery details should be confirmed at checkout or before payment.

Shipping Containers & Large Items

Shipping containers and other oversized products may require specialist transport and suitable access at the delivery address. Contact us to discuss feasibility and costs.

3. Delivery Costs

Delivery charges are determined by factors such as the product, dimensions, weight, delivery distance, transport requirements and destination.

Where delivery is not included in the displayed product price, a separate delivery quotation may be required. Please obtain confirmation of the full amount payable before completing your purchase.

Important:

Do not assume that delivery is free or included in the advertised price unless this is expressly stated in the relevant product listing or confirmed by Barose Marine Outboats.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are not the same for every product. Smaller items, boat motors, boats, yachts, pontoons and shipping containers may each require different preparation and transport arrangements.

Any estimated delivery timeframe should be treated as an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date, unless a specific guarantee has been expressly agreed in writing.

5. Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders and enquiries may need to be checked before dispatch or collection arrangements are confirmed. This may include confirming product availability, payment, delivery details and transport requirements.

For large or specialist products, customers should wait for confirmation of the agreed delivery arrangements before making travel plans or arranging unloading facilities.

6. Delivery Address & Access

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and relevant contact details.

For large deliveries, please make sure the destination has suitable access for the proposed vehicle and transport equipment. You should tell us about access restrictions, narrow roads, height limitations, weight restrictions, unloading requirements or other relevant conditions before delivery is arranged.

7. Receiving Your Delivery

Where a delivery is arranged, customers should make suitable arrangements to receive the goods at the agreed location and time. Please inspect the items as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

  • Check the delivered product against your order.
  • Look for visible damage or missing items.
  • Keep relevant packaging and delivery paperwork where practical.
  • Report any damage, shortage or delivery issue promptly.

If there is visible transport damage, record it with photographs where possible and notify us as soon as you can. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

8. Delayed or Unsuccessful Deliveries

Delivery may be delayed by circumstances such as transport availability, weather, road conditions, supplier delays, customs procedures or other events outside reasonable control.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect, access is unsuitable or nobody is available to receive it, further arrangements may be necessary. Any additional charges will be explained before they are applied.

9. International Deliveries, Customs & Import Charges

International delivery may be subject to additional transport requirements, customs procedures, import duties, taxes and local regulations.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, customers should check which import charges and customs responsibilities apply in their destination country before ordering. International delivery availability and costs must be confirmed for the specific product and destination.

10. Collection Arrangements

If collection is offered for a particular product, the collection location, date, time and any preparation requirements must be confirmed in advance.

Please do not travel to collect an item until the collection arrangements and product availability have been confirmed.

11. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Delivery arrangements do not remove or reduce any cancellation, return, refund or other rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

If you wish to cancel an order or report a problem with an item, please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy and contact us promptly. Statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods remain unaffected.

12. Contact & Delivery Enquiries

If you have questions about shipping, delivery costs, transport arrangements or delivery availability, please contact Barose Marine Outboats before placing your order.
